About this spot
Ounaskoski Camping is beside the river in Rovaniemi, Finnish Lapland. The official information lists pitches for motorhomes and caravans plus a separate tent area, with toilets, showers, a summer kitchen, a heated dishwashing area, laundry, Wi-Fi, water points and grey-water and chemical-toilet disposal.
The sauna is heated daily in summer (public sessions are included in the basic fee), dogs can swim from the camping area at the owner’s risk, and a kiosk and café sell fresh rolls. Restaurant Valdemari is next to the site. The operator notes a closure period during part of the autumn.
